The bootie is a GORGEOUS shade of plum. The photo makes it a bit redder than it really is, but it still works with deep burgundy shades. The heel is a great height if you're going to be doing some walking (e.g., hitting a 10K step goal). Be prepared for the fit to be a bit tight with regular cotton socks -- if you have nylons, those will keep the size truer to your expected fit. The toes are the primary area of discomfort, but not too many blistering effects. Ultimately, the boot looks great with everything from leggings to skirts. Great buy!
