I love these boots for the winter and fall. I wore them on a recent trip to Canada and they definitely helped keep me warm. The boot heel is really small and it's in the middle of your actual heel which was a bit weird at first, but they're so comfortable! They're just slouchy enough so that they don't squeeze your legs, but not too slouchy that they look big.
